Valentina Giuliana
My name is Valentina and I live in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, in the province of Florence.
I worked for many years in commerce as a foreign language business technician. However, as often happens, certain events in my life led me to rethink my outlook and expectations. So, in 2014 I took a short pause and it was during this period that I decided to reopen the drawer of my dreams to take a look inside and see what I had left behind. I clearly realized in that moment that my greatest desire had remained unexpressed for too long: I always wanted to do something, however small, that could be of help to other people.
Exploring the various possibilities, I decided to mix my desire with another one of my equally great passions: my love for India.
Indeed I have always been fascinated by the culture and therapeutic approach ingrained within this extraordinary country. Because of this surprising combination I decided to follow an Ayurvedic massage course and to choose this practice as my new and fascinating profession. It was surprising to discover how, using my hands, it was possible to help people lighten their stressful daily load and listen to the stress of their body to alleviate pains.
That was not all: the experience I accumulated during my studies has allowed me to grow intellectually and mature into a new person, more proactive and positive, attentive to both to the needs of others and my own, in a perfect blend of interior serenity and professional maturity.
I studied at the Magica Ayurveda School (Grosseto) www.magicaayurveda.it
where in May 2016 I obtained my Ayurvedic massage diploma. It was in this context, and thanks to meeting the teacher Nadiya D. Ancarani, that I deepened my interest in massage and thus developed my curiosity for reflexology.
While I was training for Ayurvedic massage I started a course at the School of Reflexology, Scuola Superiore di Riflessologia e Medicina Cinese Integrata con l’Agopuntura in Grosseto, where I obtained my reflexology diploma in May 2016. In March 2018 I earned the Ayurvedic Therapist diploma at the Magica Ayurveda School.
My training, which I continue to cultivate through further studies that make me every day more qualified and passionate in my work, is also enriched by direct collaboration with the Magica Ayurveda staff, with whom I worked at resorts such as Antico Borgo Poggiarello, San Monti (Monteriggioni) and Relais Santa Chiara (San Gimignano).
Immersing myself in the world of Ayurvedic massage and Reflexology, I was able appreciate the amazing clockwork of the human body, which - though perfect in itself - often needs careful and pleasant servicing
